点评:We haven’t been here since prior to Christmas 2025, when we had several successive bad meals.
There have been several staff changes for the better, however not so much in the kitchen.
Today, we, my wife and I decided that since the Clifton Springs Golf Club have introduced a new senior’s incentive, we should give it a try.
Well, we ordered the Chargrilled Chicken Breast, with a bottle of Jack Rabbit Blanc de Blanc.
Chicken breast stuffed brie cheese and prawns served with confit potatoes, charred broccolini, all finished with white wine and garlic sauce.
The nicest thing we could say about the meal apart from the presentation, was that the broccolini and confit potatoes were good, the chicken breast as presented was cut up and very dry, we couldn’t taste the brie or prawns, as for the so called white wine and garlic sauce, it could have been but couldn’t tell, no flavour at all.
When mentioned that the chicken was cut up and dry, the only comment we received was that the kitchen when tried to present it how one would expect a stuffed chicken breast was that it was undercooked.
Says a lot about the kitchen as chicken is one of the easiest meats to cook properly.
So, what we received was not as described on the menu, which is marked in red above.
The wine could not be faulted, it was superb as one would expect.

当我们提到鸡肉切得又干又柴时,得到的回复只是厨房试图按照人们期待的酿鸡胸肉的方式呈现,结果鸡肉没熟透。
这足以说明厨房的水平,因为鸡肉是最容易烹饪的肉类之一。
所以,我们吃到的菜品与菜单上的描述不符,这一点在上面用红色标记了出来。
葡萄酒无可挑剔,正如人们所期待的那样,非常棒。
