American Revolution Museum at Yorktown的点评
点评：Have been to both this museum and the American Revolution museum in Philadelphia. This is a worthwhile museum but enjoyed the museum in Philadelphia more.
This museum has an indoor and outdoor portion. The outdoor portion with the recreated colonial army camp and the middle class farm is very interesting and well done. Kids were interested in that part.
The indoor portion is a museum that tries to capture the history of the causes of the war, the war itself, and the aftermath of the war.
Thought the indoor museum was too reliant on wordy displays and my kids were a little bored. Highlight of the indoor museum was the ten minute film about the battle of Yorktown.
Overall, took us about 3.5 hours to see everything. If you have limited time in the area, definitely see the battlefield first before visiting here.
Check website for combo tickets that give you discounted admission to other attractions in the area. Otherwise, $20/adult to get in.
