点评:I sent this letter twice to the Beaver Creek Ski School and received no reply.
I'm writing about the experience of my grandson T___________ who is three years old and was enrolled in your children's class from 930-12 for five days from December 25th through the 29th.
What I can say that's positive about your program is that all the instructors were very nice and handled the kids nicely. Donut Dave especially was so loving and connected with kids including my grandson immediately upon seeing him every day.
But I'm afraid the ski instruction in your program was not as good. In fact, having put my own kids into ski school all over the Rockies and Vermont, our experience at Beaver Creek Ski School was the worst I've ever seen. T_____ not only didn't learn to ski, he barely had a chance to go up and down the magic carpet due to the incredible number of children you enrolled and the inability of the staff to handle them all as well as the overcapacity on the magic carpet.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I arrived between 1130 and noon to find T______ sitting on the ground crying. One of the days an instructor was with him, two of the days he was by himself crying. On Wednesday one of the instructors told me they could not get the kids up and down because there were just too many. I heard them talk among themselves about not having enough people to handle all the children. On Thursday I learned from your staff that he'd gone up on the magic carpet once per day during the entire daily program.
On Friday, this one's not on you, T______ had two toilet accidents back-to-back. The staff changed him and was very helpful. Because of the accidents, I was there for most of the program. I spoke with Armando and told him about T______ not being able to ski. He was great and took a personal interest in picking T_____ up and cutting the line with him so that he could go down the magic carpet three times that day. I felt sorry for the other children he cut in front of but I knew there was no other way T_____ was going to get to ski.
And about your staff. While they were very nice and the kids liked them, many of them could not hold a conversation in English. When I asked for information at the end of the day, several of them couldn't understand and respond.
Neither T_______ nor I got the value you should have delivered from your children's instruction program. It's too late for you to do anything to make T________'s experience better, he got almost no value from your ski instruction and I never would have enrolled him had I known that you would take on more children than you could handle.
But you should do something for me. I should not be made to pay for a program that had no chance of delivering the value you committed to and I would like my money back.
I await your reply.
