点评：Domaine Armand Gilg offers a personalized and exceptional wine-tasting experience. Located in the beautiful and historic village of Mittelbergheim, this family estate has roots that stretch back centuries.
Arranged by our private guide (Roman), our visit felt more like a gathering of old friends rather than a standard tasting. A Gilg family member welcomed us, offering tastes of almost every wine they produce, accompanied by warm conversation and genuine hospitality.
My favorites of the day included a 2021 Blanc de Noirs Brut Crémant and Gris “Les Tulipes.” That’s not to say I didn't enjoy their Riesling and Gewürztraminer selections, which were ample. Prices were incredibly reasonable. Coming from the Napa Valley, perhaps I’m jaded.
With this level of charm, quality, and value, if there were a US importer, American wine lovers would surely welcome access to their wine. Domaine Armand Gilg is a gem. Warm in welcome, rich in history, high in value, and exceptionally enjoyable. If you ever wander the Alsace region, it’s a stop not to be missed.
