点评：Very disappointed for the price. We paid for 1st class, so we’d be in air condition. We loved it being an old train. Our attendant, Bubba D was outstanding!! So why am I disappointed? Well their webpage states you can’t bring any outside food/drink on the train. Well we follow rules and didn’t while most all people did. You can preorder a meal for when you arrive at the Rusk depot or get something there. What they don’t tell you is that the Rusk depot is it. There is absolutely nothing to do there except buy their food and eat there. And you are there for about 1 hour 30 minutes. So plan accordingly. On the return trip it was hot, but thinking it was August and an old train it might take time to cool off. It didn’t the a/c was off. The light flickered then we stopped. They moved people from the domed car to another car. They didn’t explain what happened but we sat there for about 15-20 minutes. And you can’t open the windows because it’s an old train. So we were burning up. Well out attendant jumped into action and started playing trivia to help get us through the wait. He really was good, friendly and helpful. He had a lot of people that were really hot and getting irritated. Good job there. It really didn’t cool off by the time we returned late. I don’t mention the scenery because it was not worth mentioning. Truly just trees. If trees are your thing then you are in for a treat.
