点评：We used the Stena Line ferry from Hoek van Holland to Harwich, since it is not possible to enter the UK with a pet traveling in the airplane cabin. We had booked a daytime cabin (so we could keep our dog with us) but we had a problem with the health information provided to us by the Dutch vet, since Stena requires actual documents (unless you have an EU Pet Passport) and had to transfer to the nighttime ferry so that we could go and get the required certificate. Even that one was an issue because Dutch vets are not familiar with the procedure and apparently it was the wrong document, but eventually we were accepted. The ferry looks like a luxury cruise ship, but of course not as luxurious as an actual ferry. The "Pet Exercise Area" is a joke, it is too small and not very enticing. We could not get our dog anywhere else on the ship and as such had to stay in the cabin all night. Since we slept, this was not a big issue but it could be an issue in the daytime ferry for the 6.5 hours journey. I must also note that the restaurant closed around 10 p.m. and the bar and hospitality desks only had junk food with not so much variety, so be prepared to front-load on food or bring with you. Overall, it is a very good service for pet owners going to the UK and it is reasonably priced.
