Little Gem of a Free Beach Experience

点评：Lovely little gem, particularly if you're not trying to cram in everything in a short visit. This free beach is a nice addition to a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station. Traveling with 4 school age kids, we toured the research center in the morning, had lunch in town & returned to the beach for the afternoon. Bring snorkel gear for use at low tide - our kids aged 8-12 were easily able to swim around the protected cove (located down the left side path) and play around with learning how to use snorkel gear. Stronger swimmers could probably enjoy this at high tide too. We saw many species of fish among the rocks and even a reef shark! The beach also featured plentiful marine ignanas, crabs and a family of snoozing sea lions. Great low key introduction day that allowed everyone in our group to acclimate and enjoy the sights despite jet lag crankiness & drizzly weather - looking forward to even more adventures to come!
