点评：I attended an international conference on NUS campus but found that it is a terrible place to visit without any assistant. First, there is no close by hotels to stay in. I have to stay at a hotel about 2 km away from NUS entrance, but the roads on campus are hilly and winding. It takes another 2 km before reaching the venue. Second, it is almost impossible to catch any taxi at the nearby MRT taxi stands, in any hour of the day. At busy hours, no taxi will come. At other hours, taxis staying there don't know how to go to the venue in NUS and refuse to go there. Third, I once tried to use Google map to walk out of the campus but the layout is hard to distinguish. All signs are for their own buildings. No direction can be found to say an MRT station location.
Fourth, buses are frequent at the roads around campus. The trick is how do you know which bus stop? Fifth, the venue looks nice but it is basically an empty shell. No one answers anything. Instructions are scarce.
