Good value and amazing beach

点评：The place needs a total renovation, but part of the charm is the shabby an old fashioned/1980s Yugoslavia vibe. I stayed for a week and first stayed in a beach cabin/shack which was awful - steep spiral staircase to loft bedroom, very cramped, terrible bathroom but I requested a better room and got one in the round structures near the beach: much better. The beach is lovely and great for walking. The beachside Maestral restaurant is quite chic and decent food. Breakfast buffet is very basic. There are several nice restaurants outside the resort/ in walking distance including Tikas and Misko. It’s a good base for exploring Ulcinj. Traffic coming from and returning to Podgorica airport was horrible - need to plan at least 3 hours (it took me 4 hours when I arrived). Nearby Ada Bojana along the road to Ulcinj, there is a good bakery with outside tables and I drive there for breakfast a few times. I at dinner in the outside bar restaurant a couple of times and the food was good and I had a superstar waiter (Silver). Also the front desk staff (Bekhim and Olivera) were helpful.
