点评:Thursday 15th January we visited the historic mountain town of Teror in the northern region of the Island.
While we were here we walked down Calle Real de la Plaza (Calle Real). This is a historic and iconic cobbled stone pedestrian street that runs through the centre of the Town.
Both sides of the Street are lined with beautiful colourful old buildings in the colonial style of Canarian architecture, with their ornate wooden balconies and tiled roofs
The buildings are home to a variety of botiques, jewellery, clothing, souvenir shops and more. There are also a number of eateries and bars.
The street is not very long and it leads down to the beautiful Basílica de la Virgen del Pino at one end.
Although we were here in the middle of January there were still some Christmas decorations along the street. This added to a splash of colour and decoration to the street.
We were here between 14.00 and 16.30 when a number of the shops including the Basilica were close. This did not really impact on our enjoyment of our stroll down this beautiful old street.
Places reopened at 16.30 till around 20.00.
