点评：I went on Safari in Uganda with Mamaland Safari's in early May 2026. Isabella at Mamaland was great in working with me to customize the Safari to exactly what I was looking for. They extended my Safari and added a second day of Gorilla trekking. Included was Chimp tracking, a walking Safari to see Rhino's and two Gorilla Trekking Safaris. Most of the lodges I stayed in were Mamaland owned lodges and they were excellent. The staff at these lodges were truly amazing and went out of their way to make my stay very pleasant. My driver and Guide was Dona and he was truly excellent. Dona went above and beyond to make sure I could see the animals we were looking for. He actually tracked the tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth park by following their footprints down the road to the tree they were resting in. He has a terrific sense for what time of day and where to see the animals and we saw all of the Big 5. We even backtracked to see a Leopard after he consulted with another guide as to it's location. Dona took excellent care of me making sure I kept hydrated and physically prepared and I always followed his excellent advice. I highly recommend Dona as a Guide. If you are planning a Safari in Uganda I highly recommend Mamaland Safaris.
