点评：I got to experience the GPO Museum in Dublin as part of my Irish Adventure tour run by CIE Tours (you can read my review of the amazing Irish Adventure tour on CIE’s TripAdvisor page). I am so delighted that I got to visit the GPO Museum.
This small but impactful museum is located inside Dublin’s historic General Post Office, one of the key sites of the 1916 Easter Rising. The exhibits do a great job bringing Ireland’s revolutionary period to life through immersive displays, personal stories, and well-preserved artifacts. As a nurse, I especially appreciated seeing the nurses’ uniform and medical kit on display. It added a meaningful perspective on the role of healthcare providers during times of conflict.
While the museum itself is not large, it is well-organized and engaging, making it easy to explore without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. A worthwhile stop for anyone interested in Irish history, especially if you want a deeper understanding of the events that shaped modern Ireland.
