A profoundly moving and enjoyable tour that we would repeat in a heartbeat!

点评：Bryan had told us that those who visited Devenish Island came away refreshed and the better for having the experience. Our time on this tour proved the truth of Bryan’s words.
We booked a private tour on the little yellow taxi which was so much more spacious than we expected. Travel to and from the island was very enjoyable, enlightening and interesting ascBryan shared the history of the area, interspersed with some humorous local anecdotes. It is a wonderful thing to hear the passion of a local who clearly loves his county and the island, and who is delighted to share it with others.
Our time on the island was profound. As we wandered the site, learning much from all Bryan shared, and gazed upon a landscape viewed by many before us over the centuries, we could not help but be moved. Regardless of your background or belief, if you take the time on this island simply to be still, to look and to listen you will find it is a very spiritual experience. As we strolled slowly across the lush green grass back to the boat, it was hard not to ask to stay longer, so moving was the atmosphere of this beautiful place. We had originally planned to travel no further north than Sligo but we are so very grateful that during our holiday planning we found this tour and decided to travel further to experience it. We were both profoundly moved by the island and by Bryan’s obvious passion for it. It is an experience we would repeat in a heartbeat. We cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone considering this tour. Thank you Bryan!
