点评：This is an interesting site and there is much to see. We also found the staff genuinely friendly and welcoming. It is a shame that much of the signage is now very tired - some almost illegible through age and others hard to read. This has not been renewed in probably well over a decade. Luckily the mosaics have weathered that time rather better. Additionally we found it quite hard for a seven year old to comprehend - I am a great fan of proper English but here simpler words could have been used e.g. several references to polychrome on signs (when “colour”) would have done the trick. They are clearly making an effort to include children, so amending the signage so it is legible and can be understood by a seven year old would be well worthwhile.
I wouldn’t want to put anyone off visiting a truly important site but I hope these suggestions can be considered
