Heaving with people, too crowded - not peaceful tranquility!
Spa at Hoar Cross Hall的点评
点评：This was a treat day out with a close friend. I had high hopes given the price and reputation but honestly I was underwhelmed.
First the bits that I disliked - the photos are true to the place, except that it omits the large numbers of people in every space. The outdoor spa pools on the terrace were also crowded. This meant it was noisy too. No complementary drinks other than water - it just felt grasping being charged £5 for a pot of tea on top of the spa fee. And service in the cafe was oddly slow given it was the one area that was pretty empty. The massage was ok - but not good.
The bits I liked? A beautiful building and setting, staff were ok. Lunch and the lunch service was very good - a highlight. And I got to spend the day with my friend.
So overall, no I wouldn't go back. Massages and treatments from my local salon knock socks off this. Too crowded, too noisy, not relaxing.
