A truly amazing experience, and one I will never forget.

点评：Taking part in a Free Fall Tandem skydive at Tilstock Skydive was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. As Mayor of Telford and Wrekin, I took on this challenge to raise awareness and support for two wonderful charities close to my heart—PODS (Parents Opening Doors) and Hillbrae Dog Rescue—alongside my friend Alex from TAARC (Telford African and Afro-Caribbean Centre).
From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel welcome, prepared, and completely at ease. The training was clear, engaging, and reassuring, giving us a solid understanding of what to expect and exactly what to do. A special mention must go to my instructor, affectionately known as “Soupey,” who was exceptional—professional, encouraging, and full of confidence that put me instantly at ease.
What surprised me most was how the experience felt: not a moment of fear, only pure excitement. The anticipation built into something truly exhilarating, and I never once doubted that I could do it. That speaks volumes about the professionalism and support of the whole crew.
This was more than just a skydive—it was a powerful, uplifting experience for great causes, shared with fantastic people. I would absolutely do it again in a heartbeat!
