Fabulous shows and a very reasonable "credit instead of refunds" policy!

点评：We go to Gaslight Music Hall at least monthly, and they never disappoint! They have such a variety, and so many shows with the best songs of the 50's, 60s, and 70's that keep the terrific music alive. I especially recommend "The Tributaries" and "The 4 Gents."
I want to set the record straight about a couple of negative reviews asserting that "gift certifcates were useless" written in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic where people unreasonably complained about the gift certificate not working for "outside shows." That old review is very misleading and simply not relevant.
Turns out that negative review was written in 2020 in the height of the pandemic. At that time, the Gaslight couldn't legally give indoor performances in their theater. So, they hired a large outdoor stage they put in the parking lot, and allowed people to come in to the parking lot and sit in their cars or in lawn chairs in front of their cars to listen to the music. Clearly Gaslight had a lot of extra costs with the outdoor stage and the challenges of the Pandemic. They should be praised for going the extra mile to provide entertainment, not complained about because they had to do things differently from no fault of their own! Those "outside shows" were just during the pandemic, and now they once again use their own lovely theater, where there really is not a bad seat in the house.
We have gotten gift certificates from Gaslight Music Hall since the pandemic and they work perfectly. The Gaslight website makes it very clear that there are no refunds, all sales are final - but you can exchange tickets for another event if you give them 24 hours notice. We have actually done that a couple of times and have had no problems whatsoever. That is a perfectly reasonable policy for a business like this to have - since shows often sell out, they need to have advance notice if you aren't going to show up so they can offer the seats to other people.
Finally, because of the "full theater" so often, it behooves you to get there early - you should arrive at 5:15 PM for a 6:00 pm show - because it takes awhile to get your food order in and you don't want to be interupted in the middle of the music! They have the BEST Pizza and you don't want to be distracted savoring it!
