点评：Seven Mile Beach is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I’ve experienced on the NSW South Coast. I lived in Shoalhaven Heads for a year and spent countless hours walking barefoot along the shoreline from Seven Mile Beach National Park all the way to Gerroa. On warm sunny days, with gentle waves rolling onto the sand and the water around your feet, it felt incredibly relaxing and unforgettable.
What I loved most about this beach is the sense of space and calm. The beach seems to stretch endlessly, with wide golden sand, clean water, and beautiful coastal views the entire way. Even during busier holiday periods, it never felt overcrowded. It’s perfect for long walks, swimming, surfing, fishing, or simply sitting and enjoying the sound of the ocean.
The area around Gerroa is especially scenic, with views over the mouth of the Crooked River and surrounding green hills. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby national park tracks, where you can walk through coastal forest and enjoy the quiet natural environment. Every visit felt slightly different depending on the weather, tide, and season, which made returning there again and again such a pleasure.
For me, Seven Mile Beach was more than just a beach — it became part of everyday life and one of my favourite memories of living on the South Coast. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, natural, and truly beautiful stretch of coastline in New South Wales.
