Don't go there. It's effectively a paid beach attraction and they are dishonest

点评：This site is sold as a heritage park, a farm, and a beach, but for all practical reasons, it is just the beach that most people go to. Source d'Argent is indeed beautiful, but by no means different or better than other beaches in La Digue or Seychelles, virtually all of them free of charge. We found better beaches in Praslin, for example. Anse Source d'Argent is more rocky, and the water cluttered with more sea vegetation than other beaches we visited, so in fact it is less pleasant to enter or swim. What is unique is the combination of sandy front with majestic granite rocks, so in terms of photos it offers nice opportunities. But should you pay 150 SCR per person for that? I doubt! We were a family of 5, so the fee piled up. Moreover, when I asked to pay in Euros, I was charged 12.5 Euro per person, although the exchange rate entailed less than 10. It felt dishonest, but of course there was no way to negotiated that. So we paid 60 euros for 5 hours of beach time, a short hike south into the jungle to look for Anse Broccoli (we failed. Don't do that unless you have an expert tour guide. It is easy to get lost), and a quick bike ride through the plantation. Overall, NOT worth the price, given that all other beaches are free.
Oh, and if you do care to see giant tortoises (there are some in the estate, but they look a bit miserable) , you might as well pay somewhat more for a much better experience, and do it on Curieuse, with direct access to freely roaming anf interacting animals and also guides that tell interesting stories (and some food too).
