点评:This park was a hot mess. There was a lack of directional signs. The map and site was extremely confusing.
While the wildlife drive was open, it had recently been control burned. Some of the logs along the drive were even still smoking.
The wildlife drive itself was another of the many 1 car wide, 2 way, no directional or one way sign having, perilous roads we endured on our trip.
Within the refuge boundaries, you would occasionally see signs stating “foot traffic only” with no parking nearby and no indication of which trail it was.
While they claimed to have 50 miles of gravel roads to explore, there were no directionals to let you know what was part of the refuge and what wasn’t. There were lots of houses and private property within the refuge area so we ended up giving up and leaving rather than end up shot for trespassing.
