An Amazing Day That Almost Didn't Happen

点评：We were in Patagonia to do the "O" trek. For reasons I will not get into I was not able to continue on the trek and my wife was, so I had some free time in Natales. I searched around for a Guide and Mosquero (Fernando) name came up highly recommended. I was so fortunate that he had an open date and I booked. Long story short Fernando was extremely flexible and accommodating with challenges that Patagonia weather handed me. We fished for large wild Brown Trout in the afternoon and into the evening (10:30).
Fernando is a great (and patient) guide and very customer focused. He knows the craft and I enjoyed so much chatting with him about fly tying while on the drive to the creek and country music on the way back to the hotel. It was a very memorable day, and I will always remember the jumping Browns and the big one that got away.
