点评：If you are looking for something different to do in Tortola, I suggest you contact Shyril Smith at sshyrl@hotmail.com or on Facebook and her website Thebrickovenbvi.com. We visited Shyril's lovely home on our last visit (2024) to Tortola. There she gave us an interesting tour of her home, showed us the many things she grows on her property, and educated us in the traditional uses of brick oven cooking in Tortola. Her tour is a glimpse into the Tortola of the past--extremely interesting. Our breakfast, made of these wonderful home grown ingredients, was superb (she is also a private chef). I highly recommend Shyril for this unique experience.
This year (2025). We had Shyril come to our villa and cook for us. She prepared an excellent fish dish in the traditional style. It was fabulous. Almost enjoyable evening.<
