点评：As always the welcome was warm. The temperature outside was below freezing, but we were shown to a table by the window. Fortunately the sun was shining so we were not cold.
Service was efficient. We were asked for a drinks order within minutes and very shortly thereafter (too shortly) for our food order.
Uisge offer both small plates & full meals. Two of us ordered 2 small plates to be served together as a main course, each. One ordered soup as a starter followed by a main course. The fourth person just ordered a main. Despite the complicated orders our server was un-phased.
A few minutes later we were advised there were no croquettes (a small plate). The same thing had happened on a previous visit! The excuse being that they were very popular. Two points: 1. If they are so popular why not make more & freeze for future use? 2. Why not tell us when handing us the menu to save disappointment.
Having said all that, the food arrived at our table in exactly the order we had requested.
Later, when we were asked for dessert orders - after ordering Pavlova - we were told there was none & it was being taken off the menu! Again, why not tell us when giving us the dessert menus?!
I wonder if others have become a bit disillusioned too? There were only a few tables occupied for lunch when we were there.
