点评：Not just the best food in tamarindo, but a genuine culinary talent in the world. Owner Matt and his chef are creating exceptional food in a no-frills US-style sports bar.
The food has the kind of flare you expect from a Michelin star chef, but applied to classic US dishes (ribs) and Latin American classics (ceviche). Subtle but innovative twists and ingredients make such dishes showstoppers in their own right.
The staff are fantastic (we chatted to the chef about his secret ceviche ingredient) and the vibe is unpretentious with a great playlist (rock and indie classics and feelgood pop you didn't realise you loved) and surf/basketball on screens.
This is The hidden gem of (just outside) Tamarindo and well worth the 10-minute walk from town.
Expect a cheaper price than tamarindo town centre, colorful characters, downhome decor and genuinely exceptional food.
