Misleading website photos. Apartment #4 needs to be refurbished.
愉园度假公寓的点评
点评：My friend and I stayed in Apartment #4 which was in desperate need of some repairs and modernisation.
It was so disappointing to walk through the door of the apartment realising it looks nothing like the photos on the website.
The decor is old and knocked about, with nasty stains by the front door and dirty/marked ceiling fans.
Not all the wall lights worked - the ones in the lounge and main bedroom didn't work - and the fluoro light in the kitchen flickered.
Rust was on the bottom of the laundry tub and along the shower curtain rail (even though there was no shower curtain in place). The shutters in both bedrooms were broken in places, and the apartment was very grimy in general.
Upon check-in we were told the pump for the heated swimming pool was broken so we couldn't utilise that. Also, there are no lifts so I consider these apartments inaccessible for wheelchair users.
On the positive side, the beds were clean (mattresses on the firmer side), and there was plenty of wardrobe space and clothes hangers.
The water was hot and the kitchen had more utensils, cutlery and crockery than most places I've previously stayed.
Noise levels around the complex were good, but I put that down to staying during the low season.
We paid just under $250 per night with a 2 night minimum stay in July (wintertime) which in our opinion, considering the state of the apartment, was not good value at all. If the apartment had been as lovely as the ones in the website photos we would have been happier with the price.
I hope Apartment #4 gets some TLC sooner rather than later.
