Overall - good hotel with few areas to improve

点评：Overall- a bit disappointed compared to other KinderHotel original experiences and the lower "value for money" it delivers.
3 important things to consider before booking in high winter season: 1) the cancellation policy- unfortunately there is a very strict and rigid cancellation policy for a Kinderhotel which when having small children in middle of a flu and RSV season is not a good option unless you purchase an additional insurance > the biggest area for improvement - kids suffer from many contagious diseases especially after Covid - it is unacceptable to have such a policy which promotes spreading of contagious diseases 2) there is a ski school in front of the hotel BUT as this year February was quite warm- there is almost no snow - the school is operating on artificial snow - the village of the hotel is at 800m attitude and the next ski school is 25 min drive - very steep mountain road 3) the hotel needs a renovation- old keys and elevator and lot of stairs as well as "not very child friendly" surfaces (kids can fall
down) even in the kids play area which I believe needs to be disinfected every day (incl. the toys which are quite old and dirty). Also the indoor playground needs to be aired more often- windows are almost always closed. Last- indoor pool is very small and it is not very safe- the area around the pool is extremely slippery! Prices for massages are unreasonably high. Beside these 5 things which personally bothered me a lot, the 3 biggest highlights are: the stuff at the reception and in the restaurant is very kind and pleasing, the food- especially the dinner 5 course menu is very delicious and the service is very fast, rooms are cleaned every day to perfection as well as common areas - there is disinfectant on every corner which is very important. Also, the water quality is amazing- the water is drinkable and comes from the village own water source. Rooms are big and comfortable.
