点评:Booked last minute for a celebratory lunch, after hubby finished work. Dined here 18 months ago and rated it as one of my favourite places, however today’s lunch has changed that. Got told as we sat down that the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes, after we ordered drinks, kids meals and a starter for us. (Venue doesn’t close until 4pm, we were seated at 2pm) water glasses were dirty.. cider served warm with not being asked if we wanted ice on a hot day? Kids Mac and cheese bites were burnt. Service was non existent ( staff seemed more interested in cleaning tables than offering diners good service) Mains very average $36 for 1 piece of brisket and $34 for 1 piece of lamb shoulder???? Desert of Lemon mrtyle pancotta very overpowering, not served with “cinnamon poached apricots” but soaked dried apricots (weird when it’s stone fruit season?) No-one checked on our meals, service not great at all. Sadly this used to be a lovely dining experience but now it’s just Meh? It seems like they’ve got too busy and now mediocre is ok? Definitely not how it used to be,
