I had my car in at the local garage so popped into Chatwins for coffee and a sandwich, I like their coffees so no complaints, however there breakfast sandwiches are a different story, I had the Bacon and sausage, wife had bacon and egg, first off your charged on every item you buy too eat in? However the other shops across the the road (by the way are as good if not better) don't charge you extra for having something to stay in, FOOD, this is where Chatwins falls down,plenty of bacon,that's the good points ...sausage was stone cold and tough, eggs should always be hot and NEVER solid unless the customer asks for it that way,soft to runny they should be,now you could argue I'm being hard, but right across the road is their competitor,and they have none of these down falls, price for 1 coffee and two sandwiches from Chatwins was £14.65.....My opinion well over priced for the quality of items,As I travel the uk weekly I'd rate this place 3/10 because I certainly wouldn't buy another sandwich from this store,overpriced and cold sandwich that's over cooked is a big disappointment....
