点评：Dinner at SaQua is a culinary journey – a modern approach to traditional Tuscan cuisine, where every bite becomes a small work of art, accompanied by a romantic view of the picturesque town of Montescudaio.
It is a place where flavours seamlessly intertwine with atmosphere. The restaurant is elegant, yet warm and inviting. From the very first moment, the staff takes care of every detail of the guest experience.
We chose the tasting menu, and from the very first bite, it was clear that this place is driven by passion and immense talent.
The local beef tartare with avocado cream, olive powder, and crispy bread chips – fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced.
Blu di bufala – an intense buffalo milk blue cheese accompanied by sweet-and-sour notes, creating an extraordinary harmony of flavours.
Wild boar ravioli with butter and sage – our favourite dish of the evening and an absolute highlight. Thin, springy pasta with a rich, flavourful filling that will stay in our memory for a long time.
Tagliolino with pigeon, blueberries, and a gin-tonic touch – bold, yet perfectly cohesive.
Pork with mashed potatoes and apple–plum chutney – the chutney was absolutely outstanding.
Pre-dessert: cherry sorbet – intense and wonderfully refreshing.
Dessert: hazelnut namelaka cream, passion fruit, caramelised nuts, and lemon meringue.
To finish, we had the pleasure of meeting Chef Simone Acquarelli – an incredibly kind person whose passion can be tasted in every dish.
