点评：The Pub has recently changed hands, this is the fourth time I’ve been here since the new owners moved in…
What was once a friendly pub with good staff okay food but not expensive…. How things have changed, all the staff had walked out after a couple of days ! New staff have no idea on how to serve properly and not friendly at all, hardly any products to sell, three other times I have been in and they didn’t have any BEER !! This time they did but the price has gone up by over £1 a pint, we sat outside and spoke to other customers who were eating, they said food was well over priced and average…. The place has changed completely in such a short time and for the worst, I live in Wivenhoe and the other villagers have all said how bad it is now…. And the boss doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing and not very friendly…. The menu isn’t tempting the new chairs are not nice, staff not trained properly, no beer, no atmosphere, soulless! Just a few things we’ve heard from the old customers we’ve seen in the other pubs.. so the conclusion is…. We won’t be and the other EX customers won’t be going back…. Not until it improves.. if it does improve!! 😪
