More greasy spoon cafe style than high end golf club brasserie

点评：More of a cafe than a brasserie.
Great setting, decor chic yet tidy and comfortable.
Has potential to be somewhere a little more classy to go in Llanelli but unfortunately let’s itself down on a few factors
Service staff all seem very young and inexperienced, ( which is fine if they are being trained) however there was no greeting on arrival, no table service, they expect you to dish out hot teapots and your own cutlery. ( i e greasy spoon style). The server passed full plates over the top of guests making elderly grandmother have to grab her breakfast in midair. Chipped plates. And the “sourdough” unless I’m mistaken was clearly just a Hovis Granery or some such.
There was only one member of staff that comported their business as it should be, friendly, correct serving and professional. Obviously the more experienced. The others all seemed very miserable.
Again, food was average. Overcooked and a little dry but passable. See note on the bread though.
Great coffee I must admit!
Maybe I was expecting more from a golf club restaurant but quite frankly you get the same experience in Wetherspoons at half the price.
Come on guys, invest in some training, culinary ideas and pull the experience up to Golf club standard.
