点评：I'm wondering where to begin. I'll start with the good points - I came here for lunch with my family and the drinks we ordered were really lovely. Hot drinks were a great temp, tasted great and came in large glass mugs so I would recommend these. We ordered soup of the day, full English, pancakes and hummus. My family reported that their food (hummus, soup & full English) was really tasty and good generous portions. However, the pancakes weren't so great. They came out with no syrup (it said it came w syrup on the menu) so had to ask for this. Pancakes were dense and tasted too much of bicarbonate of soda. Not the best pancakes I've had, I don't think they were edible without the syrup. Presentation was beautiful but the taste and texture was just not good. As well as other reviews, when we walked in we were ignored and had to get our own menus. Service was slow, however I have to give it to the server as he was on his own for the 3/4 of our time here, so he was trying his best. The boss definitely needs to have more than one person on shift at lunch time. Also note that we observed other people come in and be ignored and leave after 5/10 mins of waiting. Overall I don't think I'd come back here, the service needs working on and the food wasn't the best (at least in my opinion).
