Exhilarating flight over Kakadu

点评：We booked a thirty minute afternoon helicopter ride with Sam as our pilot. Seeing Kakadu from the air gives you another amazing perspective on this incredible land. We thought about the plane ride but the helicopter, whilst more expensive, gives you more maneuverability and much better views as passengers.
Be aware that the helicopters can be flown with out the doors on which might seem strange and disconcerting to some but they can easily be put on if you are nervous about this. We didn’t have them on and the experience was brilliant. Also if you have a phone, camera or go prop putting it on a cord or tie around your wrist or neck will give you more confidence to take loads of photos as you aint getting it back if you drop it!
If you have the means definitely add this to your trip and would recommend you do this at the end of your holiday and after you have seen some of the sights at ground level.
