点评:Been a few times for a drink and find the coffee is okay. You always get a wrapped biscuit with your hot drink. The place is nice and quirky, some of the chairs need to be reupholstered though. The main gripe me and my partner have is the staff, or one in particular. Don't know her name, but she looks so miserable all the time. There are no pleasantries, no smiles and a face of thunder. She is also very rude. Last year, she put the coffees we ordered onto the part you pick them up and she started to walk away. I asked nicely, could we have some biscuits please. She turned, 'tutted', bent down, picked two up and literally threw them over the counter onto the tray and I had to catch one, and she walked off with no facial expression. Two of the other couples waiting said my 'god, that was rude', I said it's pretty normal for her. Last week we popped in and asked for two coffees, yet again she walked off and my partner asked for the biscuits, and she turned round and snarled back, 'give me a minute' , picked them out of the box and threw them on the tray. This week (after my partner forced me) we went back again, and same scenario. Two coffees and she walked off again, no biscuits. My partner didn't bother to ask. So I went up and asked and I said she forgot biscuits, and again she again threw them on the counter, one was in bits. We always say 'thank you' when we leave but she never ever looks up or says thank you, no pleasantries whatsoever. If she is so unhappy there, why bother to work in a place where you face the public all day? We have decided we won't be going back until she is gone.
