Avoid Room 8

点评：The Hotel rooms are basic but have everything you would need for the price.
My problem was that I expected noise from the bar and the live music, but nobody informed me that our room was directly above where the acts were performing and that the bed, and the rest of the furniture, actually vibrate to the sound of the music. Really.... The room was literally buzzing! It was horrific.
Luckily on the Friday and Saturday we had stayed out until the bar was closed, but on Sunday night we were back early as we had an early start.
It was impossible to sleep and all we could do was lay in bed for the last 2 hours of our stay praying for the music to stop.
I did email the Hotel and so they are aware of this, although Ive yet to receive a reply. There's no reason to not tell guests just how bad it is. Other rooms may not be so bad. Room 8 should definitely be avoided. I believe some of our friends were in Room 10 and were in the same predicament.
I would also point out that opposite the door to Room 8 is a storage/cleaning room where it would seem that the staff gather for a good old natter very early on a Saturday morning. If you're out late on Friday to avoid the music below don't expect a peaceful awakening on Saturday.
