点评：Just spent the day in Redcar, and honestly, it was spot on. The weather was amazing – proper sunshine, which, let’s face it, is rare enough to deserve a mention! The beach was lovely, with miles of sand perfect for a walk (or just sitting down and pretending you’re in the Bahamas, minus the palm trees).
Had to get a lemon top from Pacitto's – it’s basically the law when you’re in Redcar. It melted all over the place, but that’s part of the fun, right? The sea looked so inviting, but then I remembered it’s the North Sea, so I just paddled and hoped I wouldn’t lose feeling in my toes.
The town itself was buzzing, with friendly locals and plenty of places to grab a bite. There’s something really nice about a classic British seaside town – no fuss, just good vibes and a bit of banter. Even the seagulls got in on the action, eyeing up my chips like they hadn’t eaten in weeks.
Overall, it was a cracking day out. Sun, sea, and a lot of laughs – what more could you want? Can’t wait to go back and do it all over again!
