点评：The location is stunning, nestled in a beautiful part of Scotland. The drive is a bit long, with single-track roads for many kilometers, but the journey is well worth it. The natural surroundings are breathtaking.
Besides Mingary Castle, this is the only hotel in the village, so there's not much choice. It's a decent place to spend a couple of nights, essentially a pub with rooms. The staff are incredibly friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, but a bit dated and missing some basic conveniences, like having only one plug and no towel hooks in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, though.
Breakfast is a highlight – you pre-order and choose a time the day before, and they prepare it just for you. The food quality is excellent, and the service is friendly and efficient.
I enjoyed my visit mainly because of the beautiful nature and the warm staff. However, the room itself felt overpriced for what it offered. Given there's no other option in the village, it's understandable, but it still feels a bit steep.
