点评：So to summarize: coron is incredible for diving especially.
The hostel is a great choice if you want to socialize and people to spend evenings with and meet buddies for day trips.
The staff are great and outgoing.
Dorms look nice, communal showers etc are great.
Rooftop bar is great.
Private rooms are nice, and you grt the benefit of a hotel room in a hostel setting.
I'd recommend outpost to anyone looking for an engaging hostel.
I stayed at outpost for a bit over a week during the rainy season. The place was about half full I'd say, and still great for socializing!
And the diving in the area is superb!
The staff are really friendly and outgoing.
I looked for a private room and chose outpost, because I was looking for both potential privacy and socializing.
And I got what I asked for! The room was cozy and the ac worked well.
The water pressure could be a bit better sometimes, but all in all it was great and I would recommend outpost.
The rooftop bar and pool are great and there is always something going on and both staff and guests are there to keep you company. Big shout out to Jay, I hope to see you again some time!
There are events every night so its easy to meet others, but you can also choose to chill alone. There will be music at the bar, its a social hostel after all! The bar has to close at 11 pm and you can expect it to quiet down around 1130 pm. But occasionally there are party goers returning that might wake you up. But nothing unusual for a hostel setting.
So if you're coming for privacy and tranquility, this is not your place. And they don't claim to be that.
They'll also help you arrange trips, tours etc. and are very welcoming.
I'd say most people are early to mid twenties, but I wasn't out of place in my thirties.
They'll even knock on your door if you got an early pick up waiting for you!
