点评：I had enjoyed Peach's when they were a food truck. They had disappeared from the food truck scene, and I was very pleased to see that they had opened a restaurant in Panmure.
We went there for a very late Saturday lunch. It was almost packed when we got there - a sure sign that they are a popular restaurant. So it probably pays to make a booking. The decor reminded me of up-market fast food places. Seats were comfy.
We ordered chicken & waffle and "Big dark" (2 legs). You get the choice of heat level. Having experienced the food truck, we erred on the side of caution and ordered mild and mild plus. Be aware that the highest spice level is extremely spicy. Perfect if you liked your food spicy but I would rather taste my chicken instead of just chillies.
I am pleased to say that when the food arrived, the taste was similar to when they ran the food truck. Crisly chicken cooked to perfection, well (but not overly) seasoned, balanced flavours. It is hard to describe the flavour. Nothing jumps out but you keep wanting more.
Our order choice gave us a selection of both breast and leg meats. The waffle was thick and soft. It was served with a small jug of maple syrup (as you would expect) and went very with the fried chicken. The big dark came with pickles, one slice of bread and a side (we opted for the coleslaw).
So what is the verdict? Nothing too fanciful, just plain old great tasting fried chicken. And I want more...
