点评：I love Grangers and have generally enjoyed everything about dining here in the past ... but I was staggered on my last visit that they had 'RUN OUT' of sparkling wine! And so early in January & it wasn't a public holiday. They could have resolved it by going next door to the supermarket to replenish their stock, which I offered to do but they didnt see any need to find a solution. Because we were celebrating, my host was sort-of cornered into ordering a much higher-end & double the price, french champagne. I don't recall there being much of an apology about their only two sparkling wines on the wine list, not being available. Re the food - to accompany the impressive seafood buffet ordered, two serves of raw fish salad were also ordered ... but they arrived on two, flat, white regular dinner plates, not even serving dishes. Very sad considering it was delicious & really quite special but served like last night's leftovers. Poor chef seeing his delicacies presented so poorly. It was also stifling hot inside & we were obviously struggling with the heat- fanning ourselves & having to open a window ourselves to let more air in - but the staff either weren't interested, or were too busy to check up on us at anytime during our time there. All that being said, it's probably one of the best local restaurants foid-wise - so just be prepared to put up with the not-so-gr8 service for a gr8 meal.
