点评:Worst experience in Italy in the last years - if you want to be cheated, that is the place to be.
We went there this morning for a cappuccino and despite being asked/offered to sit down, we opted for taking it standing - as you may know, bars in Italy often charge you more when you sit down and for us it was more suitable to stand and enjoy the cappuccino like this.
NB: all communication was in Italian and I am aware that I do have an accent when speaking Italian.
When I went to pay, the guy behind the zinc asked me EUR2.5 per cappuccino. I asked him why as according to his price-list it was EUR1.6 when standing and EUR2.5 when being seated. His answer was: because this is the price we had to pay as he could decide how much to charge. I asked asked him how come and he just said he could and next time I could go somewhere else.
For me it is not about 90 Euro cent, it is about bad behaviour, it is a sort of racism that somebody overcharges you because you are from a different country. Cheating somebody that bluntly, is offensive and unprofessional.
