Unforgettable Orangutan Trek with Amazing Comfort

点评：Our trip with Orangutan Trekking Tours to Tanjung Puting National Park was an absolute highlight of our 3-week journey through Indonesia. The klotok boat was clean, comfortable, and had AC — a huge bonus in the hot, humid rainforest, and it helped keep bugs away while we slept.
We had fantastic meals, a kind and professional crew, and an incredible guide, Yoko, who timed every visit to the feeding stations perfectly so we could avoid the crowds and enjoy a more intimate, personal experience. We saw wild orangutans in the trees and plenty at the feeding stations — truly magical moments.
We spent one night at the lodge, which was helpful for repacking, but we much preferred sleeping on the klotok, listening to the rainforest at night.
Only note: souvenirs are limited to a few small orangutan carvings in the village and keychains at the lodge — the airport shop wasn’t worth it.
Highly recommend this tour — one of the most memorable and well-run eco-adventures we’ve had!
