点评:This place on the surface looks good. Our apartment had a spacious living room/kitchen/diner and had outdoor space. No view though. We booked a 3-bed apartment, with a bath as we have two young children. We confirmed the apartment had a bath by phone before booking it. We paid €4300 for a week in this 3-bed apartment during peak-time ski season in Feb 2023. We were expecting very nice accommodation for this price.
This is a long review, so I’ll summarize it first, if you don’t want to read the whole thing!
1. We booked and confirmed by phone that our apartment had a bath, as we have young children. We had no bath, only showers.
2. The flat was cold when we arrived. Took hours and lots of complaints for the management to finally change the settings to allow us to increase the warmth.
3. The apartment was not clean enough. Soap rings on the sinks, dozens of pubic hairs in the showers, several towels had huge black marks or brown marks on them.
4. The man who works here is rude, patronizing, intimidating and aggressive. His behaviour was a disgrace.
5. Our fridge stopped working and my children became very ill after we unwittingly gave them meat from a warm fridge. The man told me (shouting) that I was lying, causing trouble and the fridge worked fine. We bought a thermometer and have video proof that the fridge wasn’t working.
6. Towels are wafer thin and small.
7. The path from our flat was very icy, often with black ice. My little daughter slipped every day.
8. Small snowy section of land by the path from our apartment to the car park used as a dog toilet and stank of dog poo.
9. Twice there was no hot water when we wanted showers.
When we arrived, after a 15 hour car journey with terrible traffic, tired and with grumpy exhausted children, we discovered not only did the apartment NOT have a bath but also it was cold. The thermostat would not budge no matter how often we turned up the temperature. After an hour we called the receptionist/manager who told us that she couldn’t move us to an apartment with a bath nor change the settings on the heating. She told us the heating was on a timer and had turned off. It was only 9pm at this point. All we needed was 21 C! Eventually she came back (after a further hour of us huddled in coats) and told us the heating was in fact working, and that she had worked out how to override the settings to enable us to turn up the temperature. It then took hours to warm up. An hour after she left us, the ‘technician’ arrived. He stomped around the apartment in his dirty boots announcing loudly ‘the heating works fine, Magali has changed it, why are you complaining? (We hadn’t complained since she had fixed the heating an hour previously) You can’t expect tropical temperatures!! And how dare you complain that you don’t have a bath! You have showers!’ . He was surly, rude, intimidating and aggressive. He went around touching the luke warm radiators and saying loudly ‘Look! They work fine!!’ (?!).
The bath thing was a big issue for us. My young children are used to baths not showers and I had to shower them kicking and screaming every night. If they weren’t sweaty from ski school in unseasonably warm weather I wouldn’t have bathed them! I have a bad back that had gone into spasm after the journey, and a bath helps soothe the pain. We would not have booked this apartment had we known there was no bath.
On two occasions there was no hot water for showers. No explanation or apology was given when we called to report it. The technician apparently checked out the hot water and said ‘It’s working fine, there’s no problem’. You’ll see there’s a bit of a theme here with the technician’s ‘technical’ opinions.
The showers were not clean. There were at least a dozen pubic hairs in each shower. There were soap suds on the shower screens. The sinks has been given a cursory wipe, there were soap rings hiding under the soap dish and soap dispenser. Yuck! These are new contemporary style apartments ! They should be easy to clean.
I had to return some of the towels as they were disgustingly dirty with great big black marks on them. Magali quickly replaced them. The towels however are water thin and small, not big enough for my 6’2“ husband.
Around mid week we thought the fridge was running a bit warm, but there’s a notice on the fridge that says ‘DO NOT TOUCH THE SETTINGS ON THE FRIDGE’. So we didn’t. By Thursday the fridge was stinking but we thought it was one of our foods that had weirdly gone off. By Friday evening we realized that the fridge was room temperature. Our meat had gone off. The yoghurts had all ‘blown up’. Our vegetables were limp and rotting. On Thursday night I fed my children meat from that fridge, not realizing it was warm. That night and on Friday both had stomach aches and felt sick. My youngest had explosive diarrhoea on Thursday evening and all day and night on Friday. Were they poisoned from the meat we gave them, that had not been kept at fridge temperature all week? Most likely. We had to throw away around €50 worth of food that had either rotted or should have been kept at fridge temperature, and then go out and buy more.
When I complained to reception about the fridge, I was ‘greeted’ by the patronizing aggressive man again. I told him the fridge didn’t work. His answer? ‘Yes it does!’ We took him examples from the fridge. A warm bottle of water, and a warm bottle of coke. His response? ‘The fridge works very very well. (He didn’t once come and look at it). Why are you causing trouble with me? Why do you enjoy coming in here and making things up? First you complained about the heating and now the fridge!’ He was talking over me, shouting at me, telling me to shut up. He was sneering, rude and aggressive. If he had come to see our stinking warm fridge I imagine he still would have claimed that it was working fine. ‘You come in here and say that none of the fridges work in the apartments!’ ‘No’, I said ‘Our fridge doesn’t work. The freezer below works fine, surely you want to know if your appliance isn’t working?’ ‘Oh so now the freezer works fine? You’re making it all up! The fridge is working fine!’ He was shouting at me, standing over me while I remained seated. He’s a big man. I am a woman. I made very sure to keep my tone low and level, and did not once raise my voice. Could misogyny explain his angry attitude? He did not speak to my husband in the same way, though my husband did advise against speaking to him, as he thought he would be very difficult and it was clear he couldn’t care less about the problem and didn’t offer any assistance. But why should I be intimidated into not bringing a complaint that was a real issue, that cost us money and that made my children sick?
While I was in reception, a lady came in saying that the door code for the spa wasn’t working. ‘You’ve got the wrong code!’ ‘No I haven’t, the code is XXXX and it worked fine yesterday’. ‘The door works fine, there’s no problem with it!’. As you can see, this is his standard response for any complaint.
I asked who his boss was, he said he didn’t have one. I asked who the owner of the property was so that I could make a complaint. He said he wouldn’t tell me.
My husband then went to the shop, as we had had to throw out all of our food. While there he bought a thermometer! I took several videos over the next 12 hours, proving that the fridge wasn’t working. The fridge was set to 5C. The thermometer read 19 C.
In addition the path that led from our flat was permanently iced over, my little girl slipped on it every day. The large patch of snow out the front of the apartment was used as a dog toilet, and was permanently covered in dozens of dog poos. I had to scrub it off my kids boots. Every morning we walked out to the stink of dog poo. They need to put up a sign asking dog owners to take their dogs elsewhere, or clear up the poo themselves, it was disgusting. The door into the building is grey, solid and looks like a service door, so dog owners probably don’t realize there are 2 apartments there. The forest is only 20 metres further on. Every day I saw children playing in that snow, rolling in it, throwing snowballs, at least until I pointed out all the poo to the horrified parents! Dog poo can cause blindness in children, and this is very firmly a family resort. It’s clearly their land and they need to take responsibility for it.
There’s a nice-looking wood burning stove in the flat. That doesn’t work! Apparently none of them do, and they’re being removed. Maybe that’s how they expected us to warm ourselves?
Filter coffee machine which seems very old fashioned now there are coffee pod machines.
It should also be noted that the apartments are quite a hike in ski gear from the slopes, and for us, with 2 little kids in ski school and kids club, it wasn’t possible in ski boots to lug everything needed (bags, boots etc) down the hill. Even the bus stop was around 200m but according to the timetable the bus only passed every 30 mins. We ended up driving down every day and parking by the lifts.
The reception seems to be only sporadically manned. On check-out day, they only turn up at 9am, when most people have already left to miss the traffic.
If I owned these apartments I would be horrified with the management, in particular from the male ‘technician’ (whose name was never given). Several reviews on here say they had to clean the apartment once they arrived, as did we. The fridge not working, and the complete denial it was the case, is something else altogether. It’s not safe, especially when there are so many families that book in this resort. My young children were ill as a result and they couldn’t even be bothered to come and look at the fridge or ask if they were ok.
You should note that for our €4000, we were expected to clean the kitchen, empty the dishwasher, put everything away and strip the beds, which added an hour to our departure time when we wanted to leave early to miss the traffic.
For €4000? Even €2000 or €1000? I wouldn’t book it! This is the first complaint I have ever left about a place to stay. I strongly recommend you do not stay here. The ‘management’ is incompetent and the accommodation not worth the money. There are plenty of other places to stay in the village. Save your holiday and stay elsewhere!
