The Fortress Restaurant的点评
点评：As we were staying at Cap Rocat for 3 nights decided to eat at both restaurants there. Our experience at La Fortaleza ruined our trip. Upon arrival we were shown to a table outdoors in blazing sun with no shade. It was a very hot evening and sweat was pouring down us. We were very uncomfortable. There were no parasols nor any other seating options out of the sun.
Next we were handed the menus and noticing it was a set menu (a very fishy one) asked if there was an a la carte menu. There wasn’t. It wasn’t very clear on their website that there was only a tasting menu available. We wouldn’t have booked if we’d known. Neither of us were fish lovers and most of the menu was fish. They switched out a few of the ingredients for us but it was still mostly fishy. My boyfriend tried most of the dishes but I’m afraid to say neither of us found anything we particularly liked. We asked to skip a few courses and try a dessert. Even this was disappointing. We couldn’t wait to get back to our room and ordered room service!
There was no atmosphere, nor music, it was dead.
We paid around €450 for this experience too.
If you love to sit in the heat quietly and eat fish in all its forms this might be for you.
