点评:When we arrived, we found our way to the check-in desk and rang the bell for someone to help. The young woman made her way to us but then stopped to chat with someone. “Yes?” She asked and I told her we were checking in. She told us we were in room 9, and gave us a key.
We had to preorder breakfast (3 choices) but could only have it between 7-8:30 and our tour goes at 6. No option to take anything with us. Then we were told there were no other meals because there aren’t 8 guests staying (only us) but we could call a taxi to take us into town. However, we are not close to town. She was shocked we didn’t have a car.
She turned away and I had to ask where our room was. She sighed and pulled out a map quickly and showed us then put the map away.
This is the only case of awful dismissive service we’ve had in Costa Rica. Apparently the hanging bridges are amazing but we’re not staying long enough to check them out. Couldn’t tell you how to get to them or what time they are open as we weren’t told anything about them.
Internet only in the main dining room. Our floor in the room was covered in rocks and debris. Huge waste of money.
