Great hotel, you should book it.
斯卡拉马基斯酒店的点评
点评：The hotel was spotless. Great sized rooms which were cleaned every day. Nice balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Lots of sockets by the bed and the mirror.
There was a hairdryer in the bathroom as well as shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Air con in the bedroom and insect nets on the patio doors and bathroom window. TV in the room but we didn't use it. There's a safe in the wardrobe and a mini fridge. Lots of storage.
The inclusive breakfast had lots on offer - Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, nuts, through to bacon, eggs sausages and plenty of breads and pastries.
Pool was a great size. All the beds were taken when we arrived so we headed to the beach (15 Euros for 2 beds and a brolly with 2 bottles of water). Bar service to your sunbed and a range of lunches/snacks on offer. Large beer 5 Euros, cocktails were around 9. Cans of coke 3.50. Lots of beds available.
The hotel pool had sunbeds and brollies - unfortunately there were quite a few folk getting up at the crack of dawn to reserve their spot for the day. When we arrived, after breakfast, at 8.30/9am there were quite often only 2 or 3 sets of beds available even though we were often the only people there. The hotel did put a note up advising that they would move towels etc if the beds were not occupied. I hope that they keep to their word on this. Beach towels can be borrowed for a refundable 10 Euro deposit.
The hotel has a great location, right by the beach and a really short walk from a good selection of restaurants and cocktail bars that overlook the sea (happy hour(s) 7 Euro cocktails from 6 - 8.30ish). Close also to car hire offices (hotel has parking on site), a taxi rank and a number of supermarkets.
I'm really happy that we chose Skala and the Makis Hotel. It was a great, relaxing, few days away.
We travelled in July - before the UK school summer holidays.
