Hotel Makis - what a great find in Skala - location, service and clean, fresh looking!

点评：Relaxing Stay at Hotel Makis in early June ( first visit to Kefalonia)
Just returned from a lovely stay at Hotel Makis in Skala, Kefalonia, and I’m already missing it! This is a fantastic hotel in a great beachfront location. Approx 42 rooms located in 3 buildings- spacious and airy - no hotel corridors, just great views and open spaces.
The gardens and outdoor areas are beautiful—clearly very well looked after.The beachfront location is a bonus —just steps away from the sea. The beach itself is kept clean and tidy, and it was such a pleasure to spend time there.
The staff were another highlight—genuinely friendly, helpful, hard-working and always ready with a smile. Whether it was the front desk, the bar, or housekeeping, everyone made an effort to ensure we were welcome .Lia has a great team - she can be seen in the kitchen helping with breakfast or walking around and taking an interest (keeping an eye) on what is going on in and around the hotel The rooms were spotless and cleaned thoroughly every day. Mervin is a credit to the hotel. The gardener is out at 06:00am already and Dimitrios is at the beach every day, with a smile and a kind word for everyone…and has to find time to actually wash and the mattresses on the beach..whilst delivering cool beers and lovely lunches and snacks to the beach. Sun-beds are €15.00 but 2 bottles of water are provided and the beds are really comfy. ( the cost is advertised, so not a surprise).Skala prices are €10-20, fyi.
The location is ideal—just a short walk to the main street of Skala with plenty of shops, tavernas, and bars, yet the hotel feels quiet and calm. Plenty of parking.
Overall, Hotel Makis is a gem in Skala. Perfect for a laid-back beach holiday with great service and a personal touch. Will definitely return!

酒店的员工也是一大亮点——真诚友好、乐于助人、勤奋工作，总是面带微笑。无论是前台、酒吧还是客房服务，每个人都竭尽全力确保我们感到宾至如归。Lia 的团队非常棒——她时常在厨房帮忙准备早餐，时常四处走动，关注着酒店内外的动态。房间一尘不染，每天都会彻底清洁。Mervin 是酒店的一大亮点。园丁早上 6 点就出门了，Dimitrios 每天都会去海滩，面带微笑，对每个人都说着亲切的话语……而且他还会抽出时间清洗海滩上的床垫……同时还要把冰镇啤酒、美味的午餐和小吃送到海滩上。日光浴床 15 欧元，但提供两瓶水，床真的很舒服。（价格已公布，所以并不意外）。Skala 的价格在 10-20 欧元之间，仅供参考。
