点评:We booked a cellar tour, tasting dinner menu and also stayed at the linked hotel next door. The accommodation was lovely, the scenery was stunning. The sommelier who did the cellar tour was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the vineyards and wine making process, but the tour did not include any tastings. What let the whole experience down was the food. The 4 paired wines were excellent (although we would have liked to taste a greater range of them). The antipasta was delicious, but it went downhill after that. The first course of pasta was good but not special, the second course was beef that was full of gristle with overcooked spinach and a scoop of mashed potato, and the dessert was a classic cannoli and no more special than you can get in many pasticerria across Sicily. All in all it felt as if we'd been served a tourist meal rather than the sublime experience we had been hoping for as an anticipated highlight of our trip to Sicily. Over-priced compared to the other excellent meals we had during our trip.
