At lunch today, Millis (some sort of overexcited waiter) told us that with a lunch reservation and meal, we could also stay for the afternoon aperitif.
After lunch, one of my friends broke his flip-flops, so I had to drive him home to change them because he was barefoot. When we returned, Millis — the self-appointed star of the show — suddenly decided he didn’t want to give us the wristbands anymore (unlike the other waiters, who had been polite and professional). He even told me he found me “unpleasant” and therefore wouldn’t let us access the bar area.
Such behavior was disrespectful, ridiculous, and, above all, in very poor taste… all because this guy, probably frustrated, needed to take it out on someone — poor soul.
It’s a shame, because many of the people working here, apart from the waiters, such as the hostesses, are just as unfriendly.
