点评：I was lucky enough to stumble across this bar with my wife and notice a sign for a Blondie tribute that night (we love Blondie!). What a brilliant night. The host/compere (PJ) was such a nice bloke making everybody welcome and sang requests for about an hour before the main act. Great voice and had good banter with the audience. Then came Zoe Leigh doing her tribute to Blondie/Debbie Harry. Being a massive Blondie fan I can sometimes be a little over-critical at tributes but Zoe was terrific. She's got the looks, she's got the voice and she's even got the mannerisms. I would have seen her every night if she'd been on. Well done Zoe - Debbie would be proud!
Enjoyed ourselves so much we decided to go back the next night to see the David Bowie tribute but unfortunately he was unable to perform that night but this turned out to be a blessing in disguise because PJ's wife, the beautiful Emma Blacka, stepped in at the last minute to save the day. Wow - what a voice! Emma asked for requests and sang everything she was asked to pitch perfect. She's absolutely amazing and perhaps the best singer I've seen live (with the possible exception of Katie Melua).
Anyway, well done to Emma, Zoe and PJ, not to mention the gorgeous barmaids (sorry if I'm not allowed to say 'gorgeous' these days) who were the most efficient bar staff I've ever seen (as soon as your glass was close to empty they'd walk by and ask if you wanted another, without being at all pushy or making you feel obliged to get another drink, and if you wanted another drink it would be on your table in about 2 minutes!).
Great bar and I can't wait to go back next January!
